The 2nd Sources of Radicalism conference will take place in Manchester on Saturday 10th May 2003. SoR is a unique event which brings together labour historians, trade unionists and political activists to discuss the past, present and future of the radical and labour movement. This year's conference will include seminars on music, the 1977 Grunwicks dispute, Manchester's black community, the labour movement and globalisation, Sylvia Pankhurst, peace movements and anti-militarism, Beyond the Fragments revisited, the internet and labour activism, the media, feminism in the 1930s and much more. Speakers include Sheila Rowbotham, Hilary Wainwright, Lynne Segal, Mary Davis, Jeremy Dear, Jack Dromey, Greg Dropkin, CP Lee and many others. Entrance costs £10.00. (Early booking advised).
