This is a website of the International Association of Labour History Institutions (IALHI). IALHI brings together archives, libraries, document centres, museums and research institutions specializing in on social history and the history and theory of the labour movement from all over the world.
The Social History Portal contains all resources and services previously on http://labourhistory.net/, and gives integrated access to collections of many institutions in the field of social and labour history.
The design and development of this site is one of the results of the project "Heritage of the People's Europe" (HOPE), co-funded by the European Union through the ICT Policy Support Programme (2010-2013).
Digital European collections featured on this portal are also available in Europeana, Europe’s multilingual digital library, museum and archive.
