New journals websites
New website of the history journals Jahrbuch für Historische Kommunismusforschung (Yearbook for historical Studies on Communism) and The International Newsletter of Communist Studies, published by Aufbau-Verlag, Berlin.
An editorial homepage of both journals has recently been published in the Internet containing some basic information and links. You may have a look at:
www.mzes.uni-mannheim.de/projekte/JHK-news/Homepage.html
- As permanent projects of the Mannheim Center for European Social Studies, the journals are hosted by the server of The University of Mannheim.
- The issue 2002 of the Yearbook together with no 15 of The International Newsletter will be published in April 2002.
- As part of the website and beginning with the 2002 issue, The International Newsletter of Communist Studies will be published online every three month after the publication of the paper version.
- INCS online will contain about 75% of the paper version but it will also contain the entire information concerning section VI ("Events, Meetings and Other Activities Around the World") which is not published completely in the paper version.
- This website will also contain some current information concerning events, projects and publications coming in.
- Shortly, the 2000/2001 issue of INCS will also be published online.
Hopefully these new possibilities will improve international contacts and cooperation and consolidate the international network. You are kindly asked to send in news and information and also commentaries and suggestions how to improve the homepage.
