Call for writers on labour history

The Encyclopedia of American Social Movements has four remaining essays on labor history covering the following chronological periods:

  • 1600s-1790 (approximately 10 pages/3,000 words)
  • 1920-1934 (approximately 20 pages/6,000 words)
  • 1948-1981 (approximately 20 pages/6,000 words)
  • 1982-Present (approximately 15 pages/6,000 words)

The Encyclopedia is scheduled to be published in 2003 and includes a prestigious list of authors and contributors, including: Frances Fox Piven, Margaret Levi, Stanley Aronowitz, Paul Buhle, Phil Belfy, and others many others. Essays will be compensated.
