CWIHP seminar on March 7

The Cold War International History Project invites you to a CWIHP Washington seminar on "The North Korean Revolution, 1945-1955." The CWIHP seminar, co-sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson Center's Asia Program, will take place March 7, 2003 (3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) in the Woodrow Wilson Center's Flom Auditorium.

The seminar will feature presentations by Dr. Charles K. Armstrong, Associate Professor of History, Director of the Center for Korean Research at Columbia University and author of "The North Korean Revolution, 1945-1950" (Cornell University Press, 2003); Selig S. Harrison, Director of the National Security Program of the Center for International Policy, former Washington Post Bureau Chief in Northeast Asia and longtime Asia analyst; and Dr. Kathryn Weathersby, coordinator of the Korea Initiative of the Cold War International History Project. The panel will be chaired by Dr. Katharine Moon, Jane Bishop Associate Professor of Political Science at Wellesley College and Visiting Scholar with the Asia Program of the Woodrow Wilson Center and the Gaston Sigur Center of George Washington University.
