We are glad to announce that due to the International Newsletter of Communist Studies' new affiliation with the Center of Contemporary History Potsdam (Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung Potsdam) our website has moved to the ZZF server. Now you can reach the Newsletter at newsletter.icsap.de or newsletter.icsap.eu. Nevertheless the old URL is still valid, you will be automatically redirected.
Also we would like to remind you that the print edition of the International Newsletter (2011), no. 24, is being prepared right now. As last year, the print edition, which will be released as supplement of the Jahrbuch für Historische Kommunismusforschung will include no reviews or articles, but only the information and news items. This is the last call to contribute for the print edition. If you have news and informational items from archives and research, short book presentations or announcements, presentations of collaborative projects, or conference dates, we will gladly receive them from you until November 5, 2010.
As for the online edition of the 2011 Newsletter, the deadline for contributions (articles and materials, reviews, bibliographical items, project presentations a.s.o.) will be January 31, 2011. Please read our contribution guidelines at and do not forget to contact us beforehand if you plan to contribute an article or a book review.At any time: Do not hesitate to send in all sorts of scholarly, archival and cultural news at your disposal concerning the vast and growing field of Communist studies - in English, German, French, Russian, Spanish or Portuguese. We recommend you also to visit the ZZF website.
