The Plekhanov House (Dom Plekhanova), the National Library of Russia department, is pleased to announce The Хth Plekhanov Conference on “Russia: A Focus of Nations and Crossroads of Civilizations”, to be held on 30 May – 1 June, 2012, and invites proposals for paper presentations and/or items of archival research, relating to the subject, for the first publication.
A special edition of the national magazine “The Historical Archive” (№2, April, 2012.) would cover the documentary materials at issue.
On the eve of the event The Dom Plekhanova would publish its traditional “Book of Abstracts”.
Researchers, who wish to contribute to the forum, should send their applications, abstracts (up to 4 pages, New Roman Style, 12-point type, 1,5 space) and pieces for publication (about 40 000-60 000 symbols) by November 15, 2011.
