Herewith a reminder that the 1905 revolution will be the subject of the XXX Annual Conference of the Study Group on the Russian Revolution, scheduled for 3-5 January at Nottingham, UK.
The provisional programme and a booking form can be downloaded from the Study Group's webpage, which is located within the website of the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies. Go to the BASEES homepage at www.basees.org.uk, find the list of study groups there, click on 'Russian Revolution', and follow the subsequent link for '2004 Conference'.
Please send conference bookings to Dr Sarah Badcock at the Dept of History, University of Nottingham (full address on the booking form), sarah.badcock@nottingham.ac.uk.
Elsewhere on our webpage is a section about membership of the SGRR, and a link to download a membership registration form. Membership will ensure that you automatically receive an annual email with the provisional programme of the upcoming conference, as well as voting rights at the AGM. The cost to UK residents is £5, which is used to help provide, in particular, bursaries for postgraduates to attend our conference. There is no charge to non-UK residents, but donations for the same purpose would be much appreciated, especially by said postgraduates.
For membership enquiries please contact me at a.j.heywood@brad.ac.uk.
