Regulations
- The competition for the International Prize G. Sormani may be entered by scientific works published in 2004, 2005 and 2006, written by Italian and foreign authors, in any language. The works have to deal with Antonio Gramsci’s life, work, and thought, and their influence nowadays. The reference to Antonio Gramsci has to be clear and meaningful.
- Candidates must send 8 (eight) copies of their work by the 30th May 2007 to the following address: Segreteria Fondazione Istituto piemontese Antonio Gramsci, Via Vanchiglia, 3, I-10124 Torino (Italy), the parcel or envelope must be labelled "Premio Sormani". Candidates must enclose a brief curriculum vitae complete with their address, phone number and e-mail.
- Should the language differ from Italian, English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, the candidate must send a translation into one of the languages listed above.
- The winning work willl be rewarded 3,000 Euro.
- The Prize will be given in a public ceremony organized by the Fondazione in Autumn 2007 in Turin. The winner’s participation to the ceremony will be charged to the Fondazione.
- The Fondazione will reserve the right to keep a copy of the concurring works in its library.
