Pacific Northwest Labour History Association
34th Annual Conference
Vancouver, BC, Canada
June 6-9, 2002

Advance Call for Presentations

The Pacific Northwest Labour History Association's annual conference…events offer a unique opportunity for trade unionists, workers, activists, students, educators and others interested in the rich heritage of the working class. Participants examine labour history, and about how this history links to todays struggles and circumstances.

We welcome proposals for academic research, panels, single presentations, interactive workshops, drama, music, art showings, memorabilia displays and other forms of presentation. Given the audience, we prefer interactive sessions and discourage the reading of papers. The conference will include sessions by, for and about youth, as well as academic works and participatory learning.

The deadline for proposals is February 1, 2002. Please send a 200-300 word description of your presentation idea to:

Attn: Ms Joey Hartman, 2402
6888 Station Hill Drive
Vancouver BC, Canada, V3N 4X5
