Sir Bill Morris's Papers

At the Modern Records Centre

From Mrs Christine Woodland,

As the culmination of a cataloguing project financed by the TGWU, the papers of Sir Bill Morris, one of the most significant figures of the British trade union movement in recent years, have now been fully catalogued and the catalogue mounted on the Modern Records Centre's website. These papers predominantly cover Sir Bill's term of office as General Secretary of the Transport and General Workers' Union, with some earlier papers, and include appointments diaries, engagement files, speech notes, correspondence and subject files covering a wide range of topics of professional and personal interest, and a large collection of publications in the same fields.
