2015 Annual Conference of the Irish Labour History Society - booking now open.
The Irish Labour History Society are holding their annual conference in Liberty Hall, Dublin the weekend of 9th/10th/11th October 2015. 'Labour in 1915 on the cusp of the Revolutionary Year' is the theme of this year's conference, which focuses on labour history prior to the Irish rebellion against the British Empire in Ireland in Easter 1916.
President of Ireland, President Michael D. Higgins will provide the opening address to the conference on the Friday evening. Saturday will see a wide range of talks throughout the day, including discussions on James Connolly, The Irish Citizen Army and the Women of 1916.
