As a SSHA labor network co-representative, I am helping organize panels for the upcoming Social Science History Association conference in Chicago from November 21-24, 2019. We are particularly interested in panels on Reproductive Health and Work and Work in the Home. Work in the home could include topics such as occupational hazards in the home, domestic work, home health care, and telecommuting. We welcome papers focusing any geographic location or time period.
If you are interested in participating in the panels as a presenter, chair, or commentator, please contact me at av9699@wayne.edu.
The call for papers is available at http://ssha2019.ssha.org/hps/2019SSHACFP.pdf
The deadline for abstracts is 3/1/19.
