CfA: Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (Lisbon, Portugal)

The IHC — Institute of Contemporary History (New University of Lisbon) has an open call for applicants for three Postdoctoral Research Fellowships. Applicants must have completed their PhD degree in the three years prior to the application.The fellowship will have a maximum duration of three years. The project does not have to be limited to the study of the Portuguese historical reality or the study of the historical reality of Portuguese-speaking countries.

 

The specific topic of the project is to be defined by the fellows themselves in the research proposal to be included in the application, but it will have to be in one or more of the following fields: Economic and Social History; Economic History; History of Economic Thought; Political Economy. The project may also articulate the referred fields with others, namely: History of Social Movements; Environmental History; Science and Technology Studies.
 
Fellows will receive a monthly stipend (tax free) of 1600 EU. 
The call is open until the 20 November 2020.
