In conformità con le finalità della Fondazione, d’intesa con la famiglia Ragusa, è indetto un concorso per il conferimento nell’anno 2019 di 1 BORSA DI STUDIO post-dottorale intitolata alla memoria di Andrea Ragusa, membro del Comitato Scientifico e del Consiglio di Amministrazione della Fondazione, recentemente e immaturamente scomparso.

La Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah, en partenariat avec l’Institut du Genre, propose une bourse doctorale et une bourse post-doctorale pour des recherches portant sur l’histoire des femmes juives en France pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et dans le long après-guerre (1939 - fin des années 1950).
Les bourses s’adressent à des étudiant(e)s français(es) ou étranger(ère)s, inscrit(e)s en thèse ou rattaché(e)s à une équipe de recherche. Accordées pour une année, elles peuvent être reconduites sur demande.
El 1 de abril de 2019 se cumplen 80 años del fin de la guerra civil española. El Aula de Historia Social de la UCM y la Fundación Pablo Iglesias organizan una lectura abierta de cartas, poemas, testimonios o diarios escritos durante o inmediatamente después del conflicto.

We are pleased to invite contributions to an edited volume on the theme of Slavery in the Middle East and North Africa in the 19th and 20th Centuries. The volume will be edited by Janet Afary and Eric Massie and will be published by I.B. Tauris as part of its series on Sex, Marriage, and the Family in the Middle East (Series Editors: Janet Afary and Claudia Yaghoobi).
Articles addressing the following themes are particularly encouraged, but all articles related to slavery in the Middle East and North Africa during the 19th and 20th centuries will be considered:
