Mit dem Aufruf „Proletarier aller Länder, vereinigt Euch!“ wurde das von Marx und Engels 1847/48 für den „Bund der Kommunisten“ verfasste Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei zur „Geburtsurkunde der Arbeiterbewegung“. Im Kontext der heutigen Globalisierungsdiskussion erfährt die Schrift zunehmendes Interesse. Zum 170. Jahrestag der Erstveröffentlichung bietet das Karl-Marx-Haus im Jubiläumsjahr eine dreiteilige Einführung und gemeinsame Textaneignung für Interessierte an.

Reading room Amsab reopened!

From Thursday 1 February we welcome you back in our building in Bagattenstraat 174. After an intensive renovation period that lasted two years, we open the building step by step, starting with the reading room. From then on, the collection can be consulted in-house, in a brand-new reading room.

The reopening of the building will be celebrated with the necessary attention. More news will follow soon, so keep an eye on us.
