Dear all,
In 2013 will be celebrated the 100th anniversary of 'Feestlokaal van Vooruit', a very huge people's house of the socialistic cooperative Vooruit in Ghent (Belgium). In an exhibition on the building, which is an initiative of (amongst others) Amsab-ISG and which will take place in STAM (the new city museum of Ghent), we would like to show postcards of people's houses from all over the world to demonstrate the great variety of this building type. That's why I would like to ask if you could maybe help me with collecting postcards from people's houses - small and big, in the city or on the countryside - from the period 1880-1940. I would be very greatful if you could send me postcards from one or more people's houses in your country or in other countries of the world.
