WHAT
Postdoctoral Researcher fellowship (4 years) in Switzerland. The successful applicant is expected to contribute to a research project on overcoming inequalities and ethnic discrimination in the labor marketunder the supervision of Dr. Didier Ruedin and Prof. Wassilis Kassis.
WHEN / WHERE
The start date will be 1 September 2018 (or as agreed upon), University of Neuchâtel.
TOPICS
Requirements: You have completed a doctorate in one of the social sciences (preferably sociology, political sciences, social psychology, or economics), which you defended no later than four years ago (date of viva voce). Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods is required (e.g. R, Stata, Mplus), with an openness to engage with and support qualitative research in the team. Experience in experimental methods and a keen interest in discrimination, immigration and refugees are an asset. Excellent written and oral command of English is required; knowledge of Greek, German, or French is an asset. Interest in interdisciplinary collaborations with PostDocs and other nccr – on the move collaborators in the framework of different NCCR events. Regular attendance of events at the University of Neuchâtel, or elsewhere in Switzerland, is expected.
