A veinte años de la muerte de José María "Pancho" Aricó, se realizarán, los días 28, 29 y 30 de septiembre de 2011 en la Ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, las jornadas internacionales que llevan su nombre. Se trata de una apuesta por la vigencia de las múltiples inquietudes teóricas y políticas que desarrolló a lo largo de su prolífica trayectoria política-intelectual.

Im Sommer 2010 hat das Schweizerische Sozialarchiv die historischen Aktenbestände der Schweizerischen Gemeinnützigen Gesellschaft als Dauerleihgabe übernommen. Abgegeben wurden die Unterlagen aus den ersten 150 Jahren der Gesellschaftsgeschichte, während die neueren Akten ab 1960 weiterhin an der Geschäftsstelle der SGG in Zürich aufbewahrt werden.

Postgraduate oppportunities in economic and social history

We are delighted to announce the creation of a new PhD programme in Economic and Social History at the University of Southampton. This has been set up in conjunction with the establishment of the University’s ESRC Doctoral Training Centre. We are planning to recruit PhD students from the start of the new academic year and we intend to establish a new Masters programme in Economic and Social History from October 2012.
