Als "intellektuelles Forum der europäischen sozialistischen Intelligenz vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg" (Till Schelz-Brandenburg) vereinigte die Zeitschrift alle Autoren und Autorinnen von Rang der internationalen Arbeiterbewegung.
