CfP: Routledge's Fascism and Far Right series: "The rise of the radical right in the Global South"

This is a call for contributions to the Routledge series 'Fascism and Far Right.' We seek chapter submissions for our proposal, 'The Radical Right in the Global South' (under review with Routledge, United Kingdom).

Our main objective whit this edited volume is to highlight the importance of understanding the emergence, development, and consolidation of different radical right movements in Global South countries in the twenty-first century.

CfP: Towards A Social History of European Integration

EU policies have affected the lives of European citizens in multiple and profound ways; but, equally importantly, the actions of citizens and social forces have impacted on the EU institutions. Historians have only just begun to explore this dynamic. This conference aims to offer a bottom-up perspective by looking at the historical development of public contestation, mobilisation, and participation in the history of European integration.

La CFDT propose un prix de master 2 et de thèse (2 prix distincts) relevant des disciplines suivantes : histoire contemporaine, sociologie, sciences politiques.
Il a pour objectif de distinguer un ou plusieurs travaux rédigés en français et portant sur l’histoire des syndicats, en particulier l’histoire de la CFDT, et des mouvements sociaux. Il ouvre droit à une aide à la publication de 2500 € pour les thèses et 1500 € pour les mémoires de master 2.

Despite the promises made by past idyllic and evolutionist perspectives, the first two decades of this new century witnessed a reiteration of decisive conflicts related to nonwhite populations around the globe. Capital accumulation, set in motion by various mediations, served the production of difference and discrimination, which has decided over (or annihilated) the lives of women, black people, indigenous people and workers, mainly in the Global South.
