Preliminary Call for Papers -- Keynote Speakers

The principal themes of this international conference are:

  • The use of records as a tool of government
  • The destruction of records as a political act
  • The effects of corruption or ideology on the record
  • Secrecy and accountability
  • The nature and use of records resulting from repressive policies

Papers are invited on any of these themes or on related topics. If you wish to submit a paper for consideration, please complete a form, supplying an abstract of not more than 250 words. This should be received not later than 31 October 2002. We hope to be able to publish some or all of the papers in due course. The cost of attendance at the conference, including accommodation and meals, is expected to be in the region of GBP 350.
