When we Touched the Sky

Book ann: New Clarion Press

Dear friends,
Just to let you know that I'll be having a launch party on Friday May 12 to celebrate the appearance of my new book When we Touched the Sky, which is a history of the Anti-Nazi League and Rock Against Racism. It will be from 5.30 pm in Smithy's wine bar at 15-17 Leeke Street, just round the corner from Kings Cross. I'm hoping to have a couple of speakers from the campaign in the 1970s, and a number of people there as well from the new generation of anti-fascists. It would be great if you could make it. Do also feel free to invite anyone you'd like - if you can make it, please let me know, so I can keep an eye on the numbers.

Do also contact me if you are interested in review copies of the book.

See you in May,

David

By the end of the 1970s, the National Front seemed poised to become Britain's third party. But the NF had enemies on the terraces, in the clubs, and everywhere the young fought back. This is the history of that struggle.
