Left History is planning a special edition issue to be published in Fall 2019, with the theme “what does it mean to write ‘left’ history?”

The New York State Labor History Association is proud to announce that the 2018 Bernard Bellush Prize is being awarded to Erin Durham for her essay, "Strike for Labor Rights: Prison Reform in Maryland During the Early Twentieth Century." A graduate student at the University of Maryland, Durham's essay was very thoroughly researched and well-written.

An abstract of these essays will be posted on the NYLHA website.
