The International Research Center "Work and Human Lifecycle in Global History" at Humboldt University in Berlin, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) invites scholars to apply for international research fellowships (senior scholars and postdoctoral candidates) for the 2018-2019 academic year. Eight to twelve fellowships will be awarded. Applications are due in Berlin on 10 September 2017.

Die 11. Braunschweiger Gramsci-Tage nehmen das 150j. Erscheinungsjahr des ersten Bandes von Marx‘ Kapital und die 100j. Wiederkehr der russischen Revolution zum Anlass, die komplexen Beziehungen von revolutionärer Theorie und revolutionärer Praxis unter die Lupe zu nehmen. Sie wollen Reflexionen zur marxistischen Kritik der politischen Ökonomie und zur geschichtlichen Bedeutung der russischen Revolution zusammenbringen, um hieraus Erfahrungen für die gegenwärtige Situation zu ziehen.
