In recent years, historians have increasingly sought to write imperial history beyond the borders of individual, ‘national’ empires.[1] The term ‘transimperial history’ is gaining traction for such approaches, with dedicated conferences, a scholarly network, and a first attempt at definition.
Papers are invited from graduate and early career scholars for the 2022
annual conference of the Marx & Philosophy Society. The conference will
be held at the UCL Institute of Education in London on Saturday June
18th. The conference will be held in person, but it will be possible to
contribute via Zoom. The topic of this year's conference is Marxism and
Race.
