This call for papers offers a detailed description of our intended programme. Please read this carefully, and also take note of the framework document, according to which all national overviews will be written. We are still missing overviews for Japan, the Netherlands, France, USA and Norway. We welcome one more overview from South Korea and also one from China. The Plekhanov House (Dom Plekhanova), the National Library of Russia department, is pleased to announce The Хth Plekhanov Conference on “Russia: A Focus of Nations and Crossroads of Civilizations”, to be held on 30 May – 1 June, 2012, and invites proposals for paper presentations and/or items of archival research, relating to the subject, for the first publication.
A special edition of the national magazine “The Historical Archive” (№2, April, 2012.) would cover the documentary materials at issue.
