OSA hosts the 32nd Annual Meeting of the European Coordination Committee on Human Rights Documentation (ECCHRD) on May 30-31, 2011. The event is co-organized with The Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (Lund).

Op 18 juni 2011 vindt in het Provinciehuis in Leuven de studiedag Met toeters en bellen. Populaire muziekcultuur in Vlaams-Brabant plaats. Die kadert in het gelijknamige project waaraan Amsab-collega Robbe Herreman meewerkt.

Amsab-ISG kreeg het archief van 11.11.11 in bewaring. In totaal gaat het om 52 palletten materiaal (342 lopende meter) uit de periode 1966-2001.

Nach der Breslauer „Volkswacht für Schlesien“ legt die Bibliothek der FES zwei weitere wichtige sozialdemokratische Tageszeitungen ins Netz. Es handelt sich um den „Lübecker Volksboten“ und die Magdeburger „Volksstimme“, die mit ihren Ausgaben aus dem späten Kaiserreich bis zum Ende der Weimarer Republik als „Images“ digitalisiert wurden.

A SHORT HISTORY OF THE NORTHERN IRISH VOLUNTEERS WHO FOUGHT IN DEFENCE OF THE REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT OF SPAIN 1936 - 1939
This call for papers offers a detailed description of our intended programme. Please read this carefully, and also take note of the framework document, according to which all national overviews will be written. We are still missing overviews for Japan, the Netherlands, France, USA and Norway. We welcome one more overview from South Korea and also one from China.
