Das Institut für soziale Bewegungen und die Stiftung Bibliothek des Ruhrgebiets möchten Ihnen mit dieser mail die 13. Ausgabe des gemeinsamen Newsletters präsentieren. Der Newsletter informiert über aktuelle Veranstaltungen, Projekte und Publikationen sowie die Serviceangebote im Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets. La Fondazione Archivio audiovisivo del movimento operaio e democratico e l'Unione circoli cinema Arci organizzano una giornata di riflessione sulla realtà storico politica e sociale di Cuba attraverso le immagini documentarie di cinquanta anni fa e quelle del nuovo cinema cubano.

Miners Strike 25th Anniversary

The Working Class Movement Library will be holding a meeting to mark the 25th anniversary of the Miners Strike 1984-1985. On Saturday 21 November at 2.30pm speakers Granville Williams, editor of Shafted: the Media,the Miners' Strike and the Aftermath (2009), and Paul Kelly (Ex-Agecroft Miner) will look back at the personal, political and economic effects of the strike.
