Mundos do Trabalho announces a call for papers for the dossier PCB and the worlds of labour, edited by Edilene Toledo (Unifesp) and Paulo Fontes (UFRJ). The dossier will be published in volume 14 in 2022. Submit your original contribution in Portuguese, English, or Spanish. The deadline is May 1st, 2022.

From 22 to 28 November 2021 the Working Class Movement Library invites everyone to an Engels Week. This aims to raise awareness of Friedrich Engels and his work, find out what he means to people and explore how his work is still relevant today – as well as to draw attention to resources available at the Library which everyone can come and use.

his year's annual Commodities of Empire international workshop will take place from 14 to 15 July 2022 at the Freie Universität Berlin, in collaboration with the DFG funded project Commodifying Cattle. It investigates livestock commodities and commodification processes in global and imperial history. Deadline for the submission of paper proposals is 31st of January.
