Historians without Borders in Finland (HWB) was founded on June 17 in Helsinki, at the initiative of Erkki Tuomioja, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, to further public discussion about history and to promote the use of historical knowledge for peace-building and conflict resolution.

Post-doctoral Fellowship in East European Labor History

The Labor History Initiative at the CEU Department of History invites applications for a residential fellowship on the topic of Labor History with a special emphasis on Eastern Europe writ large, including comparative and transnational approaches within and beyond the region. This postdoctoral fellowship contributes to the CEU Labor History Initiative (see http://history.ceu.edu/LaborHistory) and to developing this area of research in the region.
