Nous vous rappelons que l’Institut d’Histoire Sociale de la Fédération CGT des cheminots a le plaisir de vous convier au lancement de sa bibliothèque numérique en partenariat avec la Bibliothèque Nationale de France.

Ce projet de colloque international entend étudier l'importance du thème de la mort des révolutionnaires et de ses représentations dans les mythologies révolutionnaires du XVIIIe siècle à nos jours, bien sûr par-delà les frontières nationales. Les approches seront donc volontairement comparatistes et internationales, faisant la part belle aux divers processus d'héroïsation et à la transmission de toute une culture révolutionnaire, dans les récits, les mémoires, les images, etc.

Argumentaire

On May 24, 2018 the last research associate at the Georg Lukács Archives of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences was banned from the archives after 28 years of employment. Despite local and international protest, the Academy, with the assistance of its own library, closed the archives of the world-renowned Hungarian philosopher, which has existed since 1972. The locks on the doors were replaced, and the archives effectively ceased to exist as a venue attracting international interest and researchers.

Today I visited the Alexander Yakovlev Foundation in Moscow and they confirmed the sad news about their imminent closure. I also learned that they need help.

For those who don’t know, one of the missions of the foundation was preserving Soviet history, declassifying historical documents, and making them accessible to the public and scholars. Over the years, the foundation was the leading publisher of declassified documents from the Russian archives, best known for its flagship series Россия ХХ Век.

Die Geschichte der Arbeiterbewegung während des Ersten Weltkriegs und der ersten Jahre der Weimarer Republik wird oft in einfacher Gegenüberstellung von Mehrheitssozialdemokratie, Unabhängiger Sozialdemokratie und sich gründender Kommunistischer Partei erzählt.

Uli Schoeler und Thilo Scholle durchbrechen mit ihrem Buch diese allzu schlichte Darstellung. Sie zeigen, welche Debatten es zwischen, vor allem aber auch innerhalb der Parteien gegeben hat.

Les Editions science et bien commun (Canada) lancent un appel à contribution pour un projet d’anthologie sur la non-violence et la politique, sous la direction éditoriale de Cécile Dubernet (pour la version francophone) et de Justin Scherer (pour la version anglophone), de l'Institut catholique de Paris. Des versions dans d’autres langues sont également envisagées.
