Marx Memorial Library Flood Appeal –

£50k for Lenin’s 150th birthday 

Following the devastating flood in September 2019, help us

Restore, Protect and Transform Marx House

 

On 24 Sept MML suffered a devastating flood.

Problems with our flat roof and drainage system meant water gushed through our storerooms.

 

This has given impetus to an urgent programme of works to 

Restore: undertake remedial work on the roof and drainage system

The Finnish Labour Studies Yearbook is published every November by The Institutions of Labour Heritage in Finland (the Finnish Labour Heritage Association/the Library of the Labour Movement, the Labour Archives, the People’s Archives, the Finnish Society for Labour History, the Finnish Labour Museum Werstas).

El Centro de Estudios Históricos de los Trabajadores y las Izquierdas (CEHTI) y la revista Archivos de historia del movimiento obrero y la izquierda invitan a participar de las “III Jornadas internacionales de historia de los/as trabajadores/as y las izquierdas”, que se realizarán en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario entre el 4 y el 6 de noviembre de 2020.

Le thème du congrès, « le patrimoine industriel rechargé », veut favoriser un redéploiement des réflexions et des pratiques au-delà du « postindustriel » classique, très marqué par la déshérence et l’obsolescence. L’on voudrait ainsi contribuer au décloisonnement du patrimoine industriel qu’ont instigué de précédents congrès.
